This lovely fishing lodge built on the site of the old Blackhall castle is set in beautiful grounds among lawns and mature trees overlooking farm land. The house used by the family as a holiday lodge where they entertain their friends and tenants is now being offered as a holiday let.
A lockable garage is available for sundry storage ie. golf clubs etc.
The left hand wing of the house is retained by the owners when in residence but this in no way infringes on the privacy of the let.
There are four twin bedded rooms, two bathrooms (one en suite) one shower room and a downstairs cloakroom. There is a large sunny sitting room with an open fire, a very well equipped kitchen/diner and utility room with a drying cupboard.
The estate boasts lovely riverside walks with plentiful bird life and ospreys have been seen on occasions and even an otter or two. There is a family of red squirrels who feed on the peanut feeders.
Salmon fishing can be arranged if available and there is free fishing on the adjacent lochan for prize trout.
Not suitable for small children. One dog is allowed with prior permission of the owners at a small extra charge.
